This was my first time ever doing laser hair removal in Dubai, and I’ve completed two sessions so far at U Shine Poly Clinic-Al Barsha with more sessions to continue. I truly loved the entire experience. As it was my first session in Dubai , I went in with a mix of fear and excitement. However, from the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming approach of the manager, Mr. Ahamed, immediately made me feel relaxed and confident. My first session was done by Nurse Koshila, who is from Sri Lanka. She was extremely kind, professional, and friendly, explaining each step clearly and making me feel very comfortable. My second session was done by Nurse Mary, who was equally gentle, caring, and supportive throughout the treatment. It really gave me confidence knowing that the therapists are qualified nurses, which made the experience feel very safe and professional. The most impressive part is the technology they use — the DEKA laser machine with cooling air, which made the procedure almost zero pain. The cooling system truly makes a big difference and ensures maximum comfort during the session. Overall, U Shine Poly Clinic provides excellent service, friendly and skilled staff, and advanced laser technology. Today i has was booked for SMAS lifting treatment on my face and chin. The clinic was welcoming and the treatment and expectations were discussed thoroughly before beginning. I was constantly checked on throughout my treatment and aftercare given. I was very pleased with the immediate effects of the treatment and cannot wait to see how the results continue over time. I highly recommend this clinic and the treatment and will definately book again. Update **** I just wanted to add i have recently attended the clinic for botox treatment & review. I am very happy with the service with great results. I was also lucky enough to select a deal which included a hydrofacial- the experiance was relaxing and I left with my skin glowing and refreshed. My experience at this clinic was nothing short of traumatic. What was supposed to be a simple Dysport touch-up turned into one of the worst medical experiences of my life. During my appointment with an injector named Inna, I repeatedly voiced that I did NOT want injections above my eyes. Despite making my concerns extremely clear, I felt completely disregarded and the injection was done anyway, exactly where I was afraid of. The outcome was catastrophic for me. My eyelid essentially stopped functioning, leaving me with severe drooping and the inability to fully keep my eyes open. The physical and emotional impact has been overwhelming. What made everything even more infuriating was what happened afterward. I reached out multiple times through email and WhatsApp, desperate for help or at least some accountability, but I felt brushed off and dismissed at every turn. The suggestions they offered felt careless, AI generated, praising how beautifully everything will be settling down, and when I sought a second opinion from a highly reputable clinic, I was told the recommended treatments could actually make things worse. Instead, I was advised to consider surgery……all because of a touch-up appointment. When I asked for the injector’s DHA license details for my own safety and reassurance, the clinic refused to provide anything, “for the safety if the injector”, they claimed. That refusal left me with serious doubts about their transparency and professionalism, and I deeply regret not taking the negative reviews online more seriously before trusting this place. I am not able to attend work appointments or have any social life because of what has been done to my face. This entire ordeal has been devastating, and I would never want anyone else to go through what I’ve been through.
