After my gym closed (post covid lock-down) I was looking for a new Muay Thai class and I am glad I have found this one. You can tell this gym was built by someone who comes from the sport. Well equipped with a ring, punching bags, pads etc. (but of course you have to bring your own gloves/leg guards/wraps) Its not a very big club but I like the intimate class sizes and experienced coaches some of whom are/were amateur competitors. Rona at reception is always helpful and accommodating. Its location is very accessible right by the parking lot, so its easy to get in and out. I just wish they also had some morning muay thai/kickboxing classes as well, otherwise the evening classes are great. They also have HIIT type classes however I only go there for their Muay Thai.
I love Champion club Dubai. The staff its really friendly and helpful. I’m sending my son there and he is very very happy! Advise everyone to come for classes
One of the best family-owned, truly authentic kickboxing/cardio gyms in Dubai. If you’re looking for a genuine motivating environment, this is the place to be. Whether it’s for kids or adults, a visit here is absolutely worth it WARNING: classes will make you SWEAT.
Outstanding Gym Experience! I can’t say enough great things about this gym! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and positivity. The staff are incredibly friendly, making everyone feel comfortable, no matter their fitness level. The professionalism here is top-notch. The trainers are highly knowledgeable, supportive, and always eager to help you reach your goals with personalized advice and encouragement. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a fantastic workout. It’s rare to find a gym that combines such a motivating atmosphere with excellent service. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel inspired, supported, and valued, this is definitely the gym for you! It is a family run business and you feel that you’re a part of that family once you sign up
I feel it is important to share my experience at The Champions in JLT, Dubai, especially for other parents considering this club for their children. I visited the club several times with the intention of enrolling my children in classes. Unfortunately, each visit was met with disappointment due to a lack of up-to-date information. The opening hours listed online were not accurate, and I found the club closed on days when I expected it to be open. Additionally, I specifically came for karate classes, only to discover on-site that the karate instructor had not been teaching there for several weeks. This information was not updated on the website, which caused unnecessary trips and confusion. When I finally managed to visit during opening hours, I asked for more information about the club and the activities available for children. After being told that karate was no longer offered, I inquired about pricing and requested a tour of the facilities, which was not proactively offered. I was allowed to sit with my daughters, away from an ongoing class, so they could observe and see if they were interested. I had asked for permission at the reception, and it was granted. However, after only a couple of minutes, the same staff member returned and asked us to leave, stating that children were not allowed in the area. I was told that one of the trainers did not want my children there because my three-year-old daughter had made a joyful noise while hitting a punching bag. Instead of approaching me directly to discuss any concerns, the trainer complained to the reception, which I found unprofessional and unwelcoming. As a parent genuinely interested in enrolling my children and myself, I was surprised by the lack of hospitality and communication. No coach or staff member approached us to offer information, understand our needs, or even welcome us as potential new members. Instead, we were asked to leave abruptly, which made us feel unwelcome and undervalued. I did try to speak directly with the trainer to understand the issue, emphasizing that from a business perspective, this approach was unacceptable, as it resulted in the loss of three potential memberships. More importantly, from a human perspective, it is discouraging to be treated this way in a place that should promote sports and community. One staff member tried to excuse the trainer’s behavior by saying he was stressed due to an upcoming competition and dieting. While I understand that everyone can have a bad day, this does not justify the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. If you are in the business of sports, your focus should be on sharing your passion and welcoming new people, especially children, to discover and enjoy the sport. That is all I wanted for my daughters. I hope this feedback is taken constructively. I truly believe that with better communication, updated information, and a more welcoming attitude, The Champions could offer a much better experience for families.
