My local barber shop closed down for reasons unknown to me. I was quite surprised and saddened because I had been going there for many years. So I was all of a sudden in a situation where I needed to find a new salon. I opened Google Maps as usual and searched for Gents Salons in my vicinity. Read the reviews quite thoroughly and decided to try The BillionHairs Barber Shop. The name itself is quite clever and catchy. When visiting anywhere new, you never really know what to expect. The name, location, price, atmosphere, air conditioning, and staff all play a role. I arrived at the location, and many paid street parking spots available and walked it. Received a friendly greeting from the barber, Mr Arif, who invited me to sit in the chair. Very kind and well-mannered man. He asked me briefly how I needed my cut and starting prepping. All the equipment and utensils were clean and in good condition. It was evident that the sanitizing cabinet was working and in use. Sanitizing utensils is very important to prevent the spreading of germs, bacterias and any diseases. It was a good 30 minutes with brief small talk, and the hair cut was finished. It's almost like he had been cutting my hair for years. With such little guidance, he managed to cut my hair perfectly. So, from my previous long-standing barber shop closing down, to my new barber, I am very pleased that it all turned out well. With a cool 20dhs cut, I am happy to announce that I am a fan!
Visited this Salon recently and loved all the ambiance and services. Must try. Mr Rizwan is one of the best Hair Dresser from India.
Very rude behavior and pathetic experience! I request the owner to please take action. Don’t know how to treat the customers or respect them. I seriously can’t believe this kind of attitude is happening in Dubai. Every time I ask him for shaving, he says busy but never does anything until i finish with the other person. I don’t want to come again because of this person.
It was nice saloon and professional staff with good customer service. Special thanks to Atif for paying attention to the small details and making efforts to achieve required results. It was worth giving try.
