Unfortunately, my experience at a pharmacy branch on Sheikh Zayed Road was completely unacceptable. I visited the pharmacy only to use the weighing scale available inside, but I was refused in a very unprofessional manner by a staff member (who was said to be the manager). He claimed that since I had used the scale before, I am not allowed to use it again unless I purchase something. This behavior is inappropriate and does not reflect the level of service expected from a pharmacy. If using the scale is conditional upon making a purchase, this should be clearly communicated to customers, or the device should simply not be made available to the public. The way I was treated was disrespectful and unjustified, especially over such a simple matter. It is well known that many pharmacies provide weighing scales and basic health-check devices as a public service. It is unacceptable for customers to be treated this way or denied access based on an employee’s mood. I hope the concerned authorities will look into this matter and take appropriate action.
