Shield medical center - Al Twar

This is one of the worst clinics I have ever visited. 1. No Proper Follow Up: I had a follow up appointment booked one month in advance, yet no reminder or follow up communication was made. I eventually missed it due to lack of coordination and stopped visiting the clinic altogether. 2. Appointments Not Respected: There is absolutely no point in booking an appointment. Despite having the first scheduled slot, other walk in patients were taken ahead, resulting in unnecessary delays and complete disregard for appointment timings. 3. Constant Staff Changes: Throughout the year I visited this clinic, almost every month there was a new nurse or receptionist. Each time I had to re explain my case because the new staff had no proper handover or understanding of my ongoing treatment. 4. Dentists Frequently Changing: For the first nine months, I was treated by one orthodontist. However, in the last two months, two different dentists handled my case. I struggled to explain my condition repeatedly. Despite no major service being provided during those two months, I was still asked to pay full consultation fees. Such lack of continuity, professionalism, and ethical standards is extremely disappointing in a healthcare facility. I am seriously considering reporting this matter to the Dubai Health Authority due to the unprofessional and unethical practices experienced. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

I had a great experience with Dr. Manar. She is very professional, kind, and highly skilled. She explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable during the whole treatment. The clinic is very clean and organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate her attention to detail and the quality of care she provides. I highly recommend Dr. Manar to anyone looking for an excellent dentist.

I got to know Shield thru facebook and it was right decision to go here. Its cheap and yet quality of their products and services are exquisite. Plus, its near the metro and they have free parking thru Union Coop, if you plan to visit with on your own car. I will see you on my next oral prophylaxis.

This is our second time visiting Shield Medical Center in Al Tawar and once again we are truly satisfied with the experience. Dr. Rena and Dr. Saife are not only highly professional but also have such warm and friendly personalities. They take the time to properly guide you and always suggest what’s best for your Teethes. The nurses are incredibly kind and approachable making the whole atmosphere very comforting. From start to finish the service is excellent and we genuinely feel well taken care of every time we come. We are 100% satisfied and highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality care. Visit once, and you won’t be disappointed!
