DubaiMed AI Analysis

Royal Spa is a men-only spa at the Radisson Blu in Dubai Silicon Oasis that advertises Moroccan hammam, various massages and grooming services. The website lists hours, WhatsApp/phone booking and service descriptions, but recent guest reviews are predominantly negative about service quality and upselling, so evidence is mixed and leans negative.

Best For

Men seeking an urban hammam/massage experience at a hotel location, but who should exercise caution due to mixed recent reviews.

Pros

  • Located inside Radisson Blu Hotel (website) — convenient, recognizable location
  • Offers traditional Moroccan hammam, multiple massage options and grooming services (website + reviews)
  • Long operating hours and direct booking via WhatsApp/phone (website)
  • At least one reviewer reported clean, tidy rooms and friendly staff (review #4)

Considerations

  • Multiple recent reviews report poor customer service, incomplete treatments and aggressive upselling
  • Customers reported the Moroccan bath and massage were cut short or not delivered as advertised
  • No verifiable professional credentials, licenses or transparent pricing shown on website or reviews

Low overall score driven by multiple recent 1-star reviews reporting poor service, incomplete treatments and upselling; website claims and hotel location give some upside for access and facilities, but lack of verifiable credentials and pricing transparency keeps trust and clinical scores low.

Less than Zero/ Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience I visited The Royal Spa, operating inside Radisson Blu Hotel, and the experience was far below what one would expect from a hotel-branded establishment. I paid AED 350 for a 90-minute Moroccan bath and massage. While the booking process was fine, the actual service was not. The Moroccan bath was abruptly stopped after around 30 minutes. During the treatment, another person was clearly pushing the therapist to finish early. I was asked if I wanted additional services; I clearly declined multiple times. The massage that followed lasted less than 15 minutes. The entire session ended in under one hour, which is a clear misrepresentation of what was sold. The situation became more uncomfortable when the therapist explicitly said: “Don’t forget to tip me.” Out of courtesy only, I gave AED 20. While I was still getting dressed, the therapist kept entering and leaving the room, then made a sarcastic remark claiming she had mistakenly thrown the tip into the garbage. Most concerning was that the therapist, without being asked, complained about internal arrangements and said she “needs AED 1,000 for extra service!” because management takes 40% from them. This strongly suggests that customers are indirectly pressured to compensate for internal revenue practices — something no guest should ever be exposed to. For a spa operating under the Radisson Blu name, this experience reflects poor service control, unprofessional conduct, and serious brand-level oversight issues. This was not worth the money, the time, or the discomfort. Management should urgently review how this spa operates under the hotel’s umbrella. I tried to reach the manager but the receptionist and place stoped replying to any communication. After the responsabile Mr. Wessam spoken to me he confirmed that they will refund the money and then they stopped replying on the WhatsApp and they disappeared and all the contact numbers are switched off!! What a SPAM place

They told me one thing, but when I got there, everything was completely different. I asked for a regular massage, but after 10 minutes the lady started talking about "extra services." The Moroccan bath was nothing like expected — it was just a regular shower that lasted less than 10 minutes. Definitely not going back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and try somewhere else.
