Doctor Annie Varughese has been my preventative care Cardiologist for 13 years now. She has been instrumental in managing my recovery from two cardiac events, Heart Bypass and a recent Heart Attack. She has made me a new man as I am now feeling better than I have in years. Her skill and caring attitude is second to none. The appreciation I have for Doctor Annie cannot be expressed in words. Her approach to treating the patients overall health and not just focusing on cardiovascular issues has given me a new perspective of what good healthcare truly is.
Was referred to Doctor Annie Varughese by a work colleague and am delighted at the experience and her thoroughness. A year ago my A1C was 8.7 and I had high cholesterol around 200, triglycerides were 227 two years ago .Today my most recent labs results, my A1C was 5.7 and my Cholesterol has dropped to 124. My triglycerides are now 130. Her recommendations are thorough and to the point, with direct pointed feedback and guidance. She is not a cardiologist that is using a shotgun approach and pushing a lot of medications to see what sticks like I have seen in the past. Not just pushing medication, but guiding and helping coach diet, exercise , food and lifestyle changes that helped improve my health and wellness overall. With a very targeted plan for medication to help improve my health and my medical journey. Would highly recommend her if you are frustrated with your current provider and want a fresh viewpoint and her expertise.
