All the staff nurses and supervisors are very very humble, politeness. The care was so good and very dedicated. Staff in WARD NO.6 are one of the best which I have seen and recommend. They are simply marvelous and dedicated. The perfect ward for sick patient to get a speedy recovery with care, trust, medicine and so on. Dr. Babacar Neurosurgeon is the best and so dedicated to his patients. He is very clear in his communication and confident about his plan of treatment 🙏🙏😔🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

So called emergency, very very very poor service…!! Let me guys beware you of this poor service hospital. I get into the hospital emergency at around 1:15pm or round about fi got my registration and i waited for at least half an hour just for the nurse to make my check up like my height weight bp fever etc. after registration i need to make the payment and than i go and wait in the doctors consultation area which is called “treatment area” i waited there for 3 consecutive hours 3 hours remeber i came here for emergency case and till doctor consult me and gave me medication i waited almost hours in emergency this long wait is total unacceptable it doesn’t end here … After i They called my name and i went fir doctors consultation and the dr. Only took less than 3 minutes and finished and she was instructing to the assistant that we will give him medication and they sent me in room number 9. I waited there for 15 mints and aggressively i asked the nurse how long wait i have to do she said are you here for injection or what i said i don’t know and when she knew that i’m getting angry she checked my record and than told me that i should go to the pharmacy to pay there first i said doctor didn’t told me to do this she just told me to sit and wait in room number 9 she didn’t listen to me i went to the doctor she was on phone i wait but than she said please go outside and wait in waiting area …i wa surprised what is this 😳 so no worries i controlled my anger and i went to pharmacy i waited there for almost 10 mints and the pharmacy guy is telling me that my if i got medicine from outside i’ll get cheaper and he told me you can go home while doctor advised me that they will give me some injections than the pharmacy guy said ohh okk okkk he chexked his computer and asked me to pay 49 aed some fills and i paid now again i’m back in the room number 9. I don’t know what’s going to happen next……😢 Bht this hospital totally sucks please please please guys if you are having emergency don’t go there never …..

I have never been so traumatised in my whole life. First I showed up at Rashid hospital with a stomach problem, with me i had something that I had eaten that I believed caused food poisoning. I had stomach pain,vomiting and diarrhea. ( not sure who told you i had lost my appetite as it was indicated on doctors notes) The doctor I met just looked at me and said '"No its not food poisoning,your intestines are blocked". He said that I needed an immediate surgery. I definitely refused to believe and I declined to sign the papers for surgery because ,how do you just look at someone and see their intestines without any examination and prove of a scan test. Your doctor forced me to sign the papers,saying that if I didn't sign,he was going to sign them himself. Again ,I refused and requested to be given something to stop the pain first,then I would think about it and make a decision. Then the doctor said that there was no time because he was actually done with his shift and he was leaving,he added that having someone else attend to me was going to take time. Due to the pain I was feeling,I lost my consciousness, by the time I woke up,I was surrounded by nurses with needles ready to medicate me. I tried to stop them and I repeatedly told them that I didn't want the surgery until I saw the scan results. Then weirdly they kept asking if I was pregnant. Wait you could see my intestines but not my uterus? Cut the story short ,my stomach was wide opened ,they performed the surgery (Laparatomy)without my knowledge. I woke up with stitches all over my stomach,down to the abdomen. Something that I did not approve!!!! i woke up also tied up on the hospital bed. The trauma started when I woke up and i couldn't remember where I was,I kept asking the nurses where I was but they looked at me so weirdly that to be honest,I thought I was kidnapped. To top it all,one of your psychiatrist had the audacity to ask me ' IF YOU DIE,IS THERE SOMEONE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILDREN?( I had lied that I have 2 kids at home and needed to go back to them,since i felt so afraid of everyone,i had to give them a reason to spare my life) Since she asked me that question, i did not sleep for 3 consecutive days. I was scared!!!! Its going 7 months now,and I haven't been able to go back work. Due to that surgery,that i had refused, lost a work contract and my visa expired. Some nurses ,were good like Mariya (filipo) Others were terrible! One day I had to change my own diapers, with stitches all over my stomach because I kept requesting one nurse to help me change it because it was full,and she kept telling me that they were busy because they were packing out of that building, so I had to be patient. Patient???the shit was burning. Then after I changed it myself,I had to go for a whole hour requesting for a new,clean diaper,I can't even describe the kind of burns I had all over my butt and front area when I left the hospital. After being discharged, someone called me from the hospital asking if I was ready to settle the bill,he said that it was 53000AED and I should tell my brother to come pay the bill by CASH not CHEQUE. That was suspicious. I mean 🤔 I forgot to mention that from the beginning, the other reason I refused the surgery was because I didn't have a job,and I had no insurance( facts that I told them before the surgery,i had no money ,no job,and no insurance)So, how again was I asked to pay for something that I did not approve?? Getting the surgical rings removed was another struggle. My wound had already begun to have an infection and the day I was told to go for the rings to be removed,was another nightmare. It turns out I had to pay and book an appointment, which took 5 waiting hours being sent from one room to the other until my wound started to bleed Last day, i asked for my scan results but they refused. I basically left with just screen shots of doctors notes 🤷‍♀️ The whole experience at Rashid was traumatising, frightening and painful that I hate to recall.

To the entire Ward 12 team, thank you for treating patients with genuine care. Everyone was incredibly kind, patient and professional thoughout my stay. And I would especially like to commend Nurse Leena, Nurse Reshmi, and Nurse Rowena and the doctor.They truly went above and beyond in caring for me. They were compassionate and always made sure I was comfortable and well informed about my condition. Thank you.
