I went to Dr. Antonio for help with pelvic floor dysfunction, and surgery was recommended very quickly. I wasnโ€™t fully sure, so I got a second opinion, which advised against surgery. Even so, I decided to go ahead with it. Unfortunately, the surgery did not improve my conditionโ€”it made it worse. What used to be painful at times became constant, day and night. My symptoms didnโ€™t go away, and my quality of life declined. I also felt there was little acknowledgment of the side effects after surgery and very limited support to help improve things afterward. Iโ€™m sharing this so others can be more informed. If your visit ends with surgery suggested for pelvic floor dysfunction - I encourage you to take your time, get more than one opinion, and look into doctors who offer conservative treatments like pelvic floor physiotherapy. I hope this helps others make careful decisions. Wishing you good health. Note: This review is shared in multiple places so it can reach those who may need it. It reflects my personal experience with the doctor, not the hospital.
