Im so grateful for Rocio. From the very first time I met her, she made feel comfortable and truly listened to. She's helped me work trough my own feelings and also given me practical guidance on how to handle my kids' emotions which has made such a difference in our daily life. She's warm, compassionate, and engaged. Her advice always works! After talking with her I always feel lighter more confident to handle tough moments both personally and as a mom. She's amazing and I truly can't recommend her enough!

I came to therapy not knowing exactly what to expect. I just knew I couldn't continue the same way. I didn't know how to explain it; I just felt disconnected from myself, drained of energy, and unable to recognize myself. Very soon, I felt like I was with someone different, someone who truly listened to me and understood what was behind my words. Rocío is a therapist who truly gets involved. She doesn't just listen and that's it; she makes you work between sessions, suggests exercises, reflections, and homework that she then reviews with you in detail. It's clear that she prepares personalized sessions and tries to make you feel better and understand the situation you're in. Thanks to her way of working, I began to better understand my emotions, set boundaries, and treat myself with more compassion. I don't know if I can say "I'm fine now," but I do feel much better, more aware, calmer, and more at peace with myself. And that, for me, means a lot. The clinic is welcoming and they try to schedule appointments at times that are convenient to my availability, which, given my busy schedule, I greatly appreciate. If anyone is hesitant to get started, I would encourage them, given that a professional with this level of commitment is hard to find. I highly recommend it.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I showed up 15 minutes early for my 3:00 PM appointment with the psychologist, only to be told by the reception that the doctor had “stepped out.” I assumed she’d return before the scheduled time, but even by 3:10 PM, she was still nowhere to be found. I asked the staff to call her — no answer. After waiting another 5 minutes, I left. This appointment was supposed to help me manage anxiety and emotional distress. Instead, it added to it. The lack of professionalism and basic time management is appalling. A therapist who can’t respect a patient’s time is not someone I trust to help with my mental health. She later called to apologize and offered a free session, but I didn’t answer. Frankly, I don’t want compensation — I want accountability. This experience was frustrating, disrespectful, and deeply disappointing. Avoid doing the therapy at this clinic, if you value your time, your wellbeing, or basic human decency.

I've been having therapy sessions with Rocio Alvarez. She is very empathetic and professional, and she has helped me a lot. I honestly couldn't recommend her more.The clinic also managed the insurance claim really smoothly, which I really appreciated.
