I worked with Barry during a really painful ankle injury, one that made running feel impossible. He was the first person who actually made me trust the process and commit to it. He gave me dynamic and stability exercises that actually made sense and worked on areas no one else had even mentioned before. Now I’m back to my normal function, with solid stability, without the need for surgery! And I’m running again (!!). What I love about Barry is that he’s super supportive but also realistic, he tells you exactly what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear and sets very realistic expectations. In January 2025 I re-ruptured my ACL and meniscus in my right knee whilst playing football in Dubai. I underwent surgery with Dr Ash in Orthopro and was assigned to work with Barry for my rehab. Given it was my second time rupturing my acl in my right knee I was anxious about how the post surgery rehab would go given the significant damage in my knee. I was very fortunate to work with Barry who immediately reassured me that my knee would heal correctly and that I would be in a position to return to football. We are now 10 months post surgery and nearing a return to sport thanks to Barry’s expertise and hard work making sure that I made a full recovery. Not only has he been extremely professional and helpful during the process, he’s been extremely friendly and made the entire process extremely enjoyable. I’d recommend anyone who is having issues with their knees, hips, shoulders etc. to visit Barry and the team in Orthopro because they’re the best at what they do.

Barry is an amazing physiotherapist! After my ACL, meniscus, and cartilage surgery, he helped me get back on my feet quickly with his experience and guidance.
