I would like to highlight an issue I experienced at one of your branches. This feedback is not directed at any staff member, but rather at the company policy followed at the branch. In September 2025, I purchased several items that were under a promotional offer. At that time, no personal details such as a mobile number were required to avail the discount, and the promotion was applied directly at the billing counter. However, during my recent visit, I purchased the same items, which were again displayed as being under promotion. This time, I was informed that the discount would only be applied if I provided my mobile number. Since I was not comfortable sharing my personal contact details, I was denied the promotional price and had to pay a higher amount. I work in retail myself, and in my experience, promotional pricing should be honored as displayed, even if a customer chooses not to share personal information. It gives the impression that the promotion is more about data collection than offering a discount to customers. I would appreciate clarification on whether providing a mobile number is mandatory to but a product under the promotional price?
