Update: Following my original review, the OWNDAYS Customer Service team took my concerns seriously and conducted a thorough investigation. They acknowledged that there had been a communication failure at the branch, apologized, and offered a satisfactory resolution. I appreciate the professionalism, transparency, and the time they took to investigate the matter thoroughly. While my initial experience at the branch was disappointing, I am pleased with the way the company addressed my concerns and I am happy to update my review accordingly. Very disappointed with my experience at the OWNDAYS Umm Suqeim branch. I visited the store with my 90-year-old mother to have new lenses fitted into her own frame. We were clearly told the cost would be AED 350. The store already had her prescription on file from previous glasses they had made for her. I left my mother at the store while I went shopping. Later, when I asked how much she had paid, she told me AED 500. When I questioned the difference, she said she thought it was because they had performed an eye test. However, OWNDAYS does not charge for eye tests, which immediately raised concerns about whether she had been properly informed about the additional charge. I returned to the store the following day to ask why she had been charged AED 500 instead of the AED 350 quoted. I was then told that a blue-light coating had been added to the lenses. My mother never requested a blue-light coating, does not understand what it is, and certainly did not knowingly agree to pay an additional AED 150 for it. The explanation I received was that this is what they “always do” for her. That is not an acceptable reason to add extra charges. Any upgrade or optional feature should be clearly explained and approved by the customer before being included in the order. What concerns me most is that an elderly customer was charged for something she neither requested nor understood. When I asked for the AED 150 difference to be refunded, the request was refused. This experience left me feeling that there was a lack of transparency in the sales process. From someone that has several glasses made with them - I am well aware of their structure -They took advantage of my mother - and were dishonest. They have lost me - my family and friends as customers.

Mr. Ismail fixed my glasses, Ms. Riza helped me to purchase a suitable sunglasses for my face and Dr. Soniya checked my vision and prescribed new glasses for me. Very happy. Thank you so much guys. Good frame designs especially for small faces. Frames are cheaper than other Dubai stores. No complaints on service.
