I recently completed surgeries for both of my eyes, and the entire process turned out to be surprisingly hassle-free and stress-free—thanks to the wonderful team at Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai -DHCC I was under the care of Dr. Miguel Morcillo, who was excellent at explaining my condition, the procedure, and the expected results well before the surgery. His clear communication and reassuring approach made me feel confident and comfortable. The surgery booking and insurance team also deserves appreciation for making the administrative process seamless and efficient. My pre-operative tests were conducted by Dr. Elias Georges. It was a pleasant experience going through the different diagnostic machines, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. On the day of surgery, Dr. Miguel met with us again and explained the procedure in simple, easy-to-understand language without any medical jargon. He patiently listened to our concerns and addressed them, which was very reassuring. I was prepared for surgery by the lovely nurse Daisy, who was both kind and highly professional. The OT staff—Umeir, Jesse, and Rami—were also excellent and ensured that I was comfortable at all times. The surgery itself lasted less than 15 minutes. During the procedure, Dr. Miguel kept talking me through each step, letting me know what was happening next, which helped keep me calm throughout. After the surgery, I was taken care of by the wonderful nurse Nilda, who clearly explained all the post-surgery care instructions, prescriptions, and dosage details. A big thank you to all the staff members I interacted with—including those whose names I may have missed—for making this entire experience smooth, comfortable, and reassuring.

Excellent experience as always. Dr. Fahad is very welcoming, professional, and explains everything clearly with genuine care. Waleed from administration is extremely helpful and supportive, making the whole process smooth. Nurse Cheryl is kind, attentive, and very thorough in her explanations. I’ve known this hospital for over 20 years and have never had an unpleasant experience. Highly recommended.

I had my eye surgery at Moorfields and I’m very thankful for the experience. I was quite hesitant at the beginning, but Hala Asfour was truly exceptional. She was patient, caring, and very supportive. Her reassurance and professionalism made a big difference and helped me feel comfortable throughout the process. I would also like to sincerely thank Dr. Osama Jleidi for his experience and calm approach. He explained everything clearly and made me feel confident and at ease before and during the surgery.
