I purchased a 5lb All Max Isoflex chocolate-flavored protein powder, but upon opening and tasting it, I noticed a bitter taste. The container also looked suspicious, with faded colors on the label, suggesting it was an old product. When I checked the expiry date, it showed July 2025, whereas a similar product I previously bought from Amazon had an expiry date of 2027. After contacting the store via WhatsApp for several days without a response, I returned the product and asked them to taste it. One employee seemed to notice the bitter taste but was silenced by another, who quickly stated it tasted like normal chocolate. They insisted the product was fine and refused to issue a refund. We tried to exchange the product for another brand, but they refused. Frustrated, we decided to leave the protein powder at the store. However, they followed us and insisted we take it back. I told them I couldn’t drink it and would end up throwing it away. I suggested they could drink it themselves or give it to someone familiar with the taste, who would likely notice the bitterness I was referring to. I’ve been purchasing this product for three years and have tried all the flavors. I drink the chocolate flavor every day, so I know exactly how it’s supposed to taste. I even told them, why would I return it if it was fine? To prove my point, I sent them pictures of the other flavors I have at home, but they still refused to address the issue. Despite raising concerns about the potential health risk and reminding them that they are a pharmacy, they still didn’t care or take any responsibility. It was one of the worst and most unprofessional customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
