I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received today. What should have been a routine eye examination for my child was unnecessarily prolonged and I was ultimately charged for additional procedures that were neither requested nor clearly communicated in advance. It is concerning that what was presented as a standard check-up turned into an opportunity to inflate the bill without transparency. This experience has left me feeling misled and frustrated. I will be formally raising this matter with my health insurance provider.
Very poor experience from start to finish. I arrived on time, yet the doctor left and later claimed I was 20 minutes late — apparently due to the office failing to inform him I had checked in. The consultation itself was equally disappointing. The doctor seemed disengaged, more focused on rushing to surgery than properly assessing my condition. He even suggested I would need to agree to surgery just to get an MRI, which is completely unreasonable. I had to insist on basic diagnostics like an X-ray. To make matters worse, the admin staff issued my X-ray request under the wrong name — a serious error that could have mixed up medical records. Overall, highly unprofessional. I would strongly advise avoiding this place. I will go back to Mediclinic Parkview, where my original doctor was way better as well as the office team.
I had my treatment at mediclinic mirdiff .The nurses were extremely kind, professional, and attentive throughout my treatment. They made me feel comfortable and well cared for.throughout the entire process. Highly recommend .
im sharing my feeding regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your Uptown Mirdif branch, specifically at the reception/cashier area (Counter 4). After paying for my son’s appointment, the receptionist at Counter 4 (an Arabic lady wearing a hijab) behaved in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Instead of handing me the receipt properly, she threw it onto the counter without any courtesy. Additionally, she was laughing loudly and chatting, which made the situation feel careless and inappropriate, especially in a healthcare environment. I was very close to addressing this behavior at the time, as I found it unacceptable. However, my priority was my son’s medical follow-up with the doctor, so I chose not to escalate the situation on the spot. I would like to be honest and say that if it were not for the doctor I trust at this branch, I would avoid visiting this location altogether. A clinic reception is the first point of contact, and such behavior leaves a very negative impression on patients and parents alike. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately, as professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy are essential in a medical setting.
Must say one of the best clinics in Dubai. Right from the service and hospitability everything is on point. The nurses are very calm and patient. Doctors are very experienced and large range of availability of doctors of all specialities. All those who are visiting for the first time please mind that it's an expensive clinic compared to any other clinics in Dubai. Its a bit on higher side even with insurance Co pay. But it's not - Not affordable. For example for a good insurance you mind end up paying AED 150 for a consultation for the first time. Just as information for new comers. But overall absolutely love Mediclinic and their standards.
