This is not the first time I have visited this pharmacy. Each time, I become more convinced that the staff lack basic pharmaceutical knowledge and do not appear to be properly qualified, whether in terms of medication information or professional customer handling.
Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience We purchased a product from this pharmacy and requested they keep it refrigerated while we consulted with our doctor. After speaking with our doctor, we were advised not to use the product. When we returned to the pharmacy and requested a refund, we were immediately told that it was not possible — with no explanation or effort to assist us. We asked to speak to the manager, but they outright refused to call them. The staff member we dealt with was incredibly rude and unprofessional, escalating the situation instead of resolving it calmly. When things got heated and we began recording the conversation (as a precaution due to the aggressive tone), the staff member threatened to call the police — which is completely unnecessary and unacceptable behavior, especially in Dubai where customer service is expected to be respectful and solution-oriented. This experience was shocking and disappointing. We will absolutely be taking legal steps, as what happened here is not only bad service — it’s wrong and unethical. Pharmacies must be held accountable, especially when dealing with sensitive health-related products. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone who expects even the basic level of professionalism and courtesy.
Yesterday, on May 28, 2024, I went to buy Biolectra Magnesium 300. I needed 5 packs, but the store only had 2 in stock. The pharmacist offered to let me pay for 5, promising that the remaining 3 would be delivered the same day. In the end, only 1 pack was delivered instead of 3. In the evening, I went back to the store and reported that 2 paid packs had not been delivered. The pharmacist made a phone call to someone and then said there was a mistake and the remaining 2 packs would be delivered later that evening. Result: nothing was delivered that evening. No one called. This is the most negative experience. I do not recommend agreeing to delivery at this store to anyone.
They like to rip off tourists, charged me 500 for 40 indigestion tablets, don’t show you the card machine or tell you the price. Very disappointing for a country that’s supposed to be honest
