Marina Pharmacy | Promenade
DubaiMed AI Analysis
Mixed and limited evidence: a small number of reviews praise helpful pharmacists, but multiple serious complaints report safety hazards, dishonest dispensing and poor responsiveness. The website suggests broad product availability and 24/7 delivery, but customer reports contradict reliable service.
People needing a local pharmacy or medication delivery, but who should exercise caution and verify orders due to inconsistent service reports.
Pros
- •Some reviewers report helpful, attentive pharmacists who source alternatives and deliver medicines
- •Website indicates broad product categories and claims 24/7 delivery across Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Considerations
- •Multiple reviewers report serious safety and service issues (a trip/fall causing major injury, and poor incident follow-up)
- •At least one report of under-filled medication boxes and no refund/clear resolution
- •Complaints about late or unreliable delivery and poor responsiveness to insurance/head-office queries

The woman in front of me bought to boxes of painkillers. The cashier/pharmacist took forever, opened all the boxes, scanned them multiple times. She pays. He starts to assist me. Two minutes later, she comes back. There were way less pills inside each box than indicated on the label. Like a set of 12 when 36 was indicated. “You never mentioned you needed all pills”, “this is how it is usually”, just insane dishonesty. She kept cool and walked out as the guy didn’t even offer a refund. Dodgy dodgy dodgy.
I had an accident in the Marina Pharmacy in Marina Promenade due to bad lighting and a step up into the store thats difficult to see. The accident resulted in me breaking my femur at the hip and needing a hip replacement. It was the most horrendous accident, which was witnessed by their pharmacist, who had to call the ambulance. I have contacted Marina Pharmacy head office on numerous occasions for the name of their insurance company and they ignore my emails and calls, unbeleivable behaviour from a professional organization such as this !
Gentleman was super helpful in figuring out alternatives to items I couldn’t find in this country.
very helpful and pharmacist brings all medicine that you need
Very bad pharmacy. Not recommend to deal with them or depend on them to deliver your medicines on time . Very bad experience and will talk with my insurance company to stop dealing with them
