DubaiMed AI Analysis

Review reliability caution

Some signals suggest this place's reviews may not be fully genuine, so we've adjusted its DubaiMed Rating accordingly:

  • Business name is stuffed with repeated search keywords

Limited evidence (no website) but multiple recent reviews describe serious service, safety, and billing problems. While the business appears to offer a wide range of salon services, the provided customer reports suggest inconsistent care, hygiene incidents, and opaque pricing.

Best For

Clients looking for a full-service beauty salon in Al Barsha but who should confirm pricing and staff availability in advance and be cautious about safety/service quality.

Pros

  • Wide range of services offered (manicure/pedicure, waxing, Moroccan bath, hair and massage) noted in reviews and listing
  • Has a visible Google presence with many reviews (347) and a 4.2 rating, indicating substantial customer volume

Considerations

  • Multiple recent reports of poor customer service, rude/unaccommodating staff and booking mishandling
  • Several safety/quality incidents reported (burned/peeled skin from waxing, bleeding toes, rough nail work)
  • Unclear/opaque pricing and reported overcharging compared to quoted prices

Recent reviews document repeated service failures, safety incidents (burns, bleeding), and unclear billing with no website or credential information — these issues drove low scores for patient experience, clinical quality, trust and value, yielding a low overall rating despite the salon's broad service offering.

Today visited Lamer salon at barsha , for nail polish removal. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. After removing the polish, the technician left a lot of nail dust and residue on my nails and did not properly clean them. My nails were left looking rough and untidy. I also politely asked if they could lightly shape and trim my nails since they had become very thin, but the staff were not helpful or accommodating. And when I explained to the recipient that lady was in helpful. I expected a basic level of care and customer service, but I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously. I hope the salon improves its attention to detail and customer service in the future.

I rarely write bad reviews because I don’t like to hurt businesses. Buy this salon is so badly managed to a whole different level! I tried many times yo give it a chance but it’s impossible to be dealt with as a decent customer. It feels like humiliation to be taken care of there! For the owner who thinks she is managing this well. I advise you as a business owner myself, invest in good staff and systems that help them perform their job better! Shat a frustrating experience! Just left without doing my appointment because they wanted to throw me in a storage room for a wax that is not even ventilated and would not even fit me and staff! If they had no possibility, they could have given me another time slot! Good luck!

Hello, I would like to make a complaint about my experience at your salon. I was told on WhatsApp that the gelish manicure and pedicure price was 179 AED. I did NOT have any nail extensions — these were my natural nails. I also did not get any special design or extra service, so I do not understand why I was charged 388 AED. Your price list was not clear about hard gel, soft gel, or extra charges.I didn’t have nail extensions very poor service During the pedicure, my toes were bleeding, and the technician did not even apologize. I spent almost 2hours and 40 minutes in the salon, and the technicians seemed inexperienced. Every time I asked them to fix something, they kept saying, “I’m not finished yet,” but I was still unhappy with the result. In the end, another staff member had to finish the work properly. At the cashier, I was shocked by the final bill and the extra 5% charge. Overall, the pricing was unclear, and the service was very disappointing and unprofessional. I would like a proper explanation for these charges

Full body waxing experience was below par. Initially AED 250 were communicated on call for fruit wax but the waxing lady directly started applying honey wax and BURNED my skin which peeled away. The receptionist tried to pass off honey wax as fruit but upon my insistence, they did rica throughout. However, they use wax sticks which don’t stay warm throughout and it’s just a worse experience with them dragging the wax sticks across roughly. The waxing lady kept leaving out hair on arms. And she just wouldn’t believe that my skin peeled, kept trying to pass it off as mere redness. Just overall not worth the money at all!

I am extremely disappointed with this salon. Me and my friend booked a Moroccan bath for two people, and they confirmed that I could choose Thursday (today). They even followed up with me this afternoon to check if I’m coming – I confirmed and arrived on time. When we got there, they suddenly told us that one therapist was sick and that we would still have to pay full price for both but do the bath together at the same time – which makes absolutely no sense. The worst part is that they never informed us in advance about this issue, only after we had already arrived. The receptionist was super rude and made zero effort to solve the problem. We asked for the manager’s or owner’s number, and she said it was “confidential.” Instead, she took our number, claimed she would ask the manager to call us, but then we saw with our own eyes that she just sent the message herself and ignored it. Of course, we never received a call back. This is totally unprofessional and disrespectful. If you’re looking for a Moroccan bath, do not go to this salon. There are so many better places in Barsha offering the same services with much better service, attitude, and professionalism.
