I cannot recommend Dr. Nabila Keloua enough. From the very beginning, she made me feel like family rather than just another patient. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and she takes the time to thoroughly assess every situation before explaining clearly what is happening and what the available options are. What I appreciate most is that she is genuinely caring and always puts her patients' wellbeing first. She never comes across as commercial or driven by unnecessary interventions. Dr. Sara Khawaja recently diagnosed both of my children (12 and 15) with high-functioning autism and ADHD, and I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment I met her, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and completely non-judgmental. She truly listens and creates a space where you feel heard and understood. She is also exceptionally thorough and takes her time, nothing ever felt rushed or overlooked and I know for a fact I over ran my time with her! She was fantastic with both of my children. Although I understand she often works with younger children, she has a real gift for working with teenagers, particularly when it comes to identifying high-functioning autism. My daughter, in particular, is extremely high masking, to the point where multiple counsellors and psychologists had never even suggested autism. She has struggled with anxiety for years, and previous therapies hadn’t really helped. Dr. Sara went above and beyond to fully understand her, putting in a huge amount of care and effort to reach an accurate diagnosis. She also provided excellent support beyond the diagnosis, connecting us with a lovely clinical psychologist, and offering practical, thoughtful interventions to support my daughter’s mental health. She took the time to speak directly with my daughter and explain her diagnosis in a way that was clear, kind, and empowering. If you have a high-masking child, especially a teenage girl who may have been overlooked, I cannot recommend Dr. Sara enough. She truly sees what others might miss.
