Fitness First Mirdif City Center
DubaiMed AI Analysis
Fitness First Mirdif City Centre shows a mix of strong instructor-led programming and friendly front-desk staff but also recurrent complaints about cleanliness and inconsistent onboarding. Website/credential information is not available, and reviews are mixed, so the evidence is limited and suggests variable member experience.

Score Breakdown
5 reviews analyzedMixed but limited evidence: strong, well-regarded trainers and some helpful staff raise the score, while recurring cleanliness issues, a poor onboarding report, and lack of website/credential information lower trust and facility ratings—so a moderate overall score is warranted.

I became a member on 27 April after a friend recommended the gym, as he had also joined before me. Unfortunately, my experience from the first day was not positive. I arrived around 9 PM and was attended by Sara from sales. I explained that I was referred by a friend, already knew about the promotion, and wanted to proceed with the six-month membership. However, after payment, there was no proper explanation of the rules, no tour of the facility, and no clear onboarding. The next day, I came excited to start my workout but was surprised to find out that towels were not available, which was not explained to me earlier. When I raised this with the help desk, the response was not helpful and my complaint was not properly addressed. Coach Waqas also tried to assist, but the issue remained unresolved. Overall, the facility itself is good, but the staff attitude, lack of proper communication, and even some member behavior affected my experience. I would rate it 2.5 stars.
I’ve trained across multiple Fitness First locations in Dubai, and I’ve never seen anything as poorly maintained as Fitness First MIRDIF City Centre. This is, without exaggeration, the DIRTIEST branch I’ve encountered. Hygiene here is completely neglected. Machines are consistently left sweaty and uncleaned, and there is little to no visible effort from staff to sanitize equipment. Cleaners are either mopping floors, wiping mirrors, or nowhere to be found when it actually matters — on the gym floor where members are actively using equipment. Now compare that to Fitness First BurJuman and DIFC where cleaning staff are constantly present with cloths and sanitizer, actively disinfecting machines after use and even approaching members to offer cleaning before they start. That is the standard. This branch falls far below it. It gets worse: basic gym etiquette is practically non-existent here. Members leave weights and equipment all over the place, and shockingly, even some COACHES don’t bother to re-rack weights after using them. When staff themselves ignore basic standards, what message does that send? Let me be very clear to anyone planning to train here: DO NOT trust the cleanliness of this gym. Assume every machine is DIRTY. If you value your health, you must SANITIZE everything yourself before use. Management needs to take immediate and serious action. This is not a small issue — it’s a fundamental failure in hygiene, safety, and professionalism. Right now, this club reflects very poorly on the entire Fitness First brand.
Fitness First Gym at Mirdif City Centre is the best, in my opinion. It has everything needed for overall well-being and effective workouts. The equipment is modern and very comfortable to use, the atmosphere is positive and motivating, and the gym is always very clean. And along with this I’d like to talk about Okinari Awoudu. He is one of the best trainers at Fitness First, Mirdif City Centre. His Circuit and TUFF classes are conducted with a very high level of professionalism and discipline, often incorporating military-style exercises that truly help build strength and endurance. He pays close attention to every participant, ensuring that each exercise is performed correctly and safely. Okinari goes above and beyond his responsibilities, consistently delivering excellent training and outstanding results. THANK YOU VERY MUCH🙏🏻

I’m bringing my 4-year-old for swimming, and I’m very happy with the experience. Coach Emmanuel is amazing—my child has learned to swim quickly under his guidance. Kennette, the lifeguard, is also extremely helpful and always goes the extra mile, even supporting with keeping the changing room clean. Truly appreciate the effort from both of them.
