I visited Eye Consultants in Healthcare City after being diagnosed with a detached retina, which was a huge shock. From the moment I arrived, the level of care and professionalism was exceptional. The team were incredibly thorough and identified additional issues in both eyes. Due to the urgency, they moved quickly and arranged my surgery within just a few days, which was very reassuring. The preparation and support from the staff were outstanding. They made me feel completely at ease going into what was a two-and-a-half-hour procedure, which was very successful. My surgeon, Dr. Ahmed El Khashab, was excellent throughout. Over the past three months, I’ve been back regularly for follow-ups, including two further procedures. Every step — before, during, and after — has been handled with precision, care, and consistency. Wafaa and the entire team are incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional - all ensuring world-class care at every stage. In fact, the service has been so good that I have recommended them to several friends who have since visited, including one who also had a very successful surgery. I’m very grateful to the whole team for their expertise and care during what was a very stressful time. I would highly recommend Eye Consultants to anyone based on their thorough approach, quality of work, and excellent before and aftercare.

Good experience with Dr. Ahmed El Khashab for retinal detachment surgery I had retinal detachment surgery with Dr. Ahmed El Khashab at Eye Consultants Hospital in Dubai, and overall I'm very satisfied. He's a good doctor, knows what he's doing, and the surgery went well. The clinic is modern and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Lisa Demyan for handling my paperwork, appointments, and lab coordination – she made things much easier. Would recommend if you need retinal surgery.

I did Ultra LASIK on September 10 with doctor Dr. Sherif Emerah. I am so happy that I chose the eye consultats hospital. All the staffs are very kind and friendly. The receptionist from the picture assisted me and she answered all my questions with patience and kind . The doctor is very professional and reliable . I was so scared when the operation start and the nurse named Joyce hold my hand in the whole process. She’s very kind because of her help I can relax in surgery time . I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Ahmad Alkhashab. My mother had a longstanding issue in both eyes, with the right eye being especially affected. For 3 to 4 years, she underwent multiple surgeries in her home country. Each time, the doctors assured us the surgery would preserve her vision, yet, sadly, her vision continued to decline. Despite being a doctor myself and consulting the best specialists in my country, when we arrived in Dubai, I sought a second opinion. After a recommendation, I visited Dr. Ahmad. After a thorough examination, he recommended a straightforward procedure that would not only preserve her vision but potentially improve it. Initially, I was hesitant, as I didn’t fully expect such a significant outcome. However, after a second meeting, I saw his confidence and sincerity, which made me trust him completely. We decided to proceed with the surgery, and the results were truly extraordinary. After 3 or 4 years of lost hope, she went from seeing only 1 meter to seeing clearly at 4 or 5 meters. He told us that her vision is still improving with time. Inspired by this progress, I opted for the second eye surgery as well, and it also yielded even greater improvement. Now, her vision is better than ever—so much so that she no longer needs glasses. I want to sincerely thank Dr. Ahmad. He gave my mother hope and returned her to a normal life. Her daily activities were once so restricted; she couldn’t do things independently, but now, she is living life as a normal person again. Praise be to God.
