DubaiMed AI Analysis

Emirates Rehabilitation and Homecare - Deira is a specialized post-acute rehabilitation centre with many patient reports of strong functional recovery (especially after stroke) and a website that highlights CARF accreditation, a multidisciplinary team, and inpatient/outpatient/homecare services. Evidence is primarily strong patient testimonials and the centre's own claims; public detail on pricing, hours, or parking is limited.

Best For

Patients needing post-acute rehabilitation (stroke, brain injury, or post-surgical rehab) who want inpatient, outpatient, or homecare services.

Pros

  • Multiple patient reviews report clear functional improvements (walking, speech, independence) under named therapists and doctors.
  • Website states CARF accreditation and lists an experienced multidisciplinary team.
  • Offers the full continuum of care (inpatient, outpatient, home health) and a 50-bed facility with state-of-the-art exercise equipment (per website).

Considerations

  • No public detail in reviews or site about pricing, billing transparency, or fees.

Strong, consistent patient-reported outcomes and documented CARF accreditation point to good clinical quality and trustworthiness; however, public evidence is mostly testimonials and site claims with little transparency on pricing, logistics, or independent facility verification, so scores are high but not maximal.

My father spent 3 months under the care of Emirates Rehabilitation Centre. I must say, the improvement I have seen in his health is like day and night. He came unable to walk, talk or eat his own food. By the grace of God, my father was supported by the best specialists in the Centre and now is independently taking care of himself. All thanks to the team, Dr. Adham Hajjar, understanding my fathers problems like his own, Ms. Basharat the speech therapist who helped my father to talk again, Ms. Serin the physiotherapist because of who my father is walking like before, and the great team of nurses and other staff who has wholeheartedly helped in his recovery. Also, special thanks to the case coordinator Ms. Thresia, who made all appointments seamless and coordinated family meetings to discuss my fathers progress. We felt very much comfortable and satisfied how she handled all the responsibilities. I'm very grateful to the staff and management, for helping my father to recover and feel like himself again. With a happy heart and all smiles, they treated him like his own family. I would definitely recommend ERHC for the highest standards of rehabilitation care and long term results.

I would like to formally express my sincere appreciation to Ms. Nilakkanni Marimuthu and the entire rehabilitation team for the exceptional care, dedication, and support provided to me throughout my stroke rehabilitation journey. When I first arrived, I was facing significant difficulties with my right leg and right hand. Walking, climbing stairs, writing, and even managing my daily activities were extremely challenging. Today, I am able to walk independently, climb stairs, write, and take care of my daily activities on my own — a transformation that has been made possible through the dedication, expertise, and coordinated efforts of your remarkable team. Ms. Nila’s contribution has been truly outstanding. She guided me through effective and motivating exercises, ensured that every session was well structured, and took personal responsibility for my progress and recovery. She thoughtfully arranged my schedule so I could benefit from the expertise of each physiotherapist and even managed my assignments on her day off to ensure continuity in my rehabilitation. Her involvement in organizing a surprise send-off celebration — complete with a beautiful bouquet, cake-cutting ceremony, and memorable photograph session — as well as her presence on her day off, reflects her deep compassion, professionalism, and commitment to patient care. I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire physiotherapy/occupational therapy team, each of whom supported me with patience, encouragement, and genuine care. Their teamwork and coordination played a major role in my improvement and recovery. The collective effort of your entire team has made my recovery journey not only possible but deeply meaningful. I am sincerely grateful for the care and compassion I received, and I truly believe entire team represents the highest standards of healthcare and rehabilitation excellence. With heartfelt gratitude, Nazer Mohamed

My father was admitted in this rehabilitation for almost 9 months after a brain stroke that caused weakness on his left side of his body. His condition was challenging bcuz of his old age plus his chronic diseases , and also being hospitalized for a while affected his mental health too (icu syndrome). His journey here had ups and downs and I would like to reflect honestly on both the positive aspects and areas of improvements. First I would greatly thank the physiotherapist Mr. Rohit for his enormous effort and patience to treat my dad as if it’s his dad too. He understood my father’s condition and mood very well compared to other therapists who were just only performing their duties and then bye :) I wanted a therapist who would support my dad physically and mentally simultaneously and Mr. Rohit perfectly fits the criteria. His sessions were very humorous, entertaining and energetic that it helped my dad stay motivated and as the family members we enjoyed his sessions a lot. We would recommend him to anyone for physiotherapy. Also we’re really grateful for my dad’s speech therapist Mrs Basharath for genuinely caring about the wellbeing of my dad, and her speech sessions were engaging and weren’t boring at all as she always encouraged my dad and made him laugh and happy. Last but not least, we would give a special thanks to Dr. Adham and Mrs Wafaa and Mira for their mannerisms and respectful interactions with us, and to the caregivers Ruwan, Jojo and Esaiku for providing incredible real time support to my father. Reasons for not giving 5 stars are due to those areas that need improvement: - some nurses had unprofessional behaviors and poor communication which we already complained about a lot during our stay such as not preparing my dad on time or checking his BP before sessions, not knocking the door or at least greeting the family members when they enter. I believe that the shortage of staff has led to longer waiting times for assistance or limited availability for certain services. - Noticeable lack of team work and communication between nurses and therapists. - Lack of male physiotherapist assistants. Luckily we were there to assist them for my dad’s walking session but this shouldn’t be our job as we aren’t experts! (Also another shortage of staff) - Facility maintenance. The gym needs a lot of development as it is very small and old. Meanwhile the villa and rooms require lots of refurbishing (There was an incident in our room of water leaking from the roof due to a heavy rain and the AC was always shutting down whenever it rains.) Also, the center’s garden has immense potential to be therapeutic and uplifting space for patients, but it currently lacks the attention it deserves. We would suggest adding more colorful flowers, comfortable seating areas and sensory elements could greatly enhance the gardens appeal and therapeutic benefits. - While ERHC offers comprehensive PT, OT and ST services. I found that there was limited emphasis on the mental wellbeing of patients. Incorporating more mental health support sessions and increasing the variety and frequency of group activities and events could greatly benefit individuals undergoing rehabilitation, as mental health plays a crucial role in the recovery process.

We are glad to share our experiences with Emirates Rehab.. It was truly great. My aunt had a brain stroke and was informed by Neurologist that medical support was not required. So we admitted her in Emirates Rehab. Her therpist, Ms Nila gave her the best physiotherapy and motivated like her own family member. Will be always thankful to Nila ma'am. Once again thank you to entire team of doctors, nurses, co- workers and the cleaning staff. Really appreciate your hardwork.
