Very disappointing experience, especially considering this is known as a “bloggers salon” and has such a big social media reputation. I booked in advance expecting high-end professional service, but the salon was extremely overcrowded and disorganized the entire time I was there. There were around 5 different women working on my hair throughout the appointment, which made everything feel rushed and chaotic instead of personalized. They were also extremely aggressive with my hair and used very high heat with absolutely no heat protection. At one point they literally burnt my scalp/head during styling. What upset me the most was when I politely asked the stylist to change the direction of my curls because I personally prefer outward curls, she became defensive and kept saying “this is my job” and Rolling her eyes instead of simply listening to what I wanted as the paying customer. To make things worse, I was charged 945 AED and i left with half of my hair undone from how disgusted i was. For a salon with such a strong influencer/blogger image and pricing this high, I honestly expected far better service, professionalism, and care. I left feeling overcharged, ignored, and worried about the damage done to my hair.

I had such a great experience at this salon! I went in for a BB cream treatment, and I’m honestly so impressed with the results. My hair feels incredibly soft, smooth, and healthy, with a beautiful natural shine. I did it with Sumaya, she really knows what she’s doing — she took the time to understand my hair type and made sure the treatment was done perfectly. The whole experience was relaxing, and I felt completely taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their hair and get amazing results. I’ll definitely be coming back again to SUMAYA
Amazing experience at Elata Salon! I came in with a hair color that was done at another salon and I wasn’t happy with it. Suha and Faiza did an incredible job correcting it, and the final result was even better than I expected. They were professional, attentive, and truly talented. Highly recommend!
