I had been suffering since Feb '22 and went to see Dr Rizwan Hamid, at King's, after "running away" from another Dr's clinic. Dr Rizwan diagnosed my issues, explained what to expect, the various treatment and surgery options, encouraged me to read about the surgery options on the BAUS website after drawing and going through in detail himself. Was very patient with my never-ending questions which I would write beforehand. I took second and third opinions and laid them before Dr Rizwan, he patiently explained where there were seemingly divergent views. Surgery day came and went, he remained engaged and available always. He even took the time to brief my wife when I was in the recovery room. Today is Day 12 after the surgery and I am now almost fully recovered. My experience both of Dr Rizwan and King's College Hospital Dubai was excellent.
Dr Rizwan was incredibly professional throughout my treatment. He explained in spesific detail what needs to be done and why. He did not encourage surgery as the first and only option at all. He took great care in explaining details of every possible treatment with relative sucess rates. After been in the UAE for 20 odd years.. this is by far the best urologist I have dealt with
