I am not someone who usually writes Google reviews, but on this occasion I felt compelled to do so because Dr El-Rafei has genuinely transformed my life. Since childhood I suffered from severe allergies and asthma. I was constantly congested, endlessly sneezing, and dependent on inhalers and medication. When my son desperately wanted a dog, I realised something had to change — but I was equally determined that I did not want to spend the rest of my life taking antihistamines every single day. Three years ago I visited Dr El-Rafei, who came highly recommended as one of Dubai’s leading allergists specialising in immunotherapy. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. The treatment requires commitment — initially daily injections for about 30 days before they gradually spread out — but the results have been extraordinary. My allergies have effectively disappeared. I am no longer constantly congested or sneezing, and most remarkably my asthma has almost vanished. I went from using my inhaler daily (sometimes twice a day) to perhaps once every two weeks, and even then more out of habit than necessity. The improvement in my quality of life has been profound. For anyone suffering from allergies or asthma, I cannot recommend Dr El-Rafei highly enough. I remain profoundly grateful to him for the care, expertise and life-changing treatment he has provided, and I would also like to thank the wonderful nursing team who have been consistently kind, professional and supportive throughout the entire process.
