I had a disappointing experience. I had a consultation before starting and clearly explained what I wanted for the nail design, extension type, and manicure. Everything was agreed on before the service began. However, halfway through, I realized cuticle cleaning was not included, and I was then told there would be an extra charge of 90 AED. This was not clearly communicated at the beginning. Typically, when booking a gel pedicure or gel manicure with extensions, basic cleaning should either be included or clearly explained in advance if it is not possible or requires an extra charge, especially as I had already paid over 400 AED for the service. During the service, when I asked for small fixes to the polish, I felt my hand was pushed back into the lamp instead of properly adjusting it, which made the experience uncomfortable and tense. The overall service felt inconsistent with poor communication. I remained calm and still thanked the staff at the end. When I raised the issue with the manager, she refused to include the cleaning free of charge. I am also attaching a clear photo of the nails during the service, showing the design, but it is noticeable that the cuticles were not properly cleaned. Overall, clearer communication and a more comfortable service approach would make a big difference.
