I would like to leave a very positive feedback on my experience with Dr. Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Dermatologist. I have had several appointments over the last 2 years with him and always was very grateful for his attention to details, clear explanation of the possible reasons for the symptoms and the choice of the treatment. He always answers all the inquiries and helps me as patient to have clarity on the treatment. I feel confident to return to him whenever needed, and would recommend him to my family and friends as a very good specialist.

This was by far the worst hospital experience I have ever had. No one seems to care about patients, and you are sent from one department to another as if you were a football. There is no need to even mention the staff and the way they treat people. I went to the hospital with my friend because he was suffering from severe stomach pain. We entered through the emergency department, and they made us wait for a full hour without giving us any clear explanation. Every time we asked, they simply replied, "We have another patient," while my friend was screaming in pain. As for the manager, it seems that you need paperwork just to speak with him. However, he had plenty of time to walk around and chat with his friends while completely ignoring us. My friend remained in the waiting room for an hour and a half before a doctor finally came to examine him. After the examination, the doctor told us that he would send a request to the insurance company so that my friend could be admitted and assured us that it would take no more than 10 minutes. Instead, we waited an additional 50 minutes before the request was even sent to the insurance company. I wish there had been at least one Arabic-speaking staff member we could communicate with. Or, if the hospital is unable to hire a competent manager, they should at least hire someone who understands the value of a patient and respects their suffering. In the end, we waited for three hours without receiving any proper response. Unfortunately, we had to leave and go to another hospital, where my friend received treatment within just 30 minutes.

Waited for over an hour in the Emergency before I got to see the doctor, and another hour to get the necessary treatment. Probably not the best hospital to go to if you’re seeking urgent care in the area. Staff seem to be professionals yet unbothered by the long queue of patients; could be a recurring and usual scenario in this hospital. This facility is quite new and clean yet small for the capacity or volume of patients they could accommodate. Could improve their service. Definitely hitting some of the company’s core values — Excellence and Compassion.

Although some of the procedures I needed took longer than expected to be completed, I was very well taken care of at Aster Hospital. I would especially like to highlight the support provided by Mr. Nithin. From the moment I arrived by ambulance until the reception process, he gave me all the assistance I needed. He even spoke Portuguese with me at times when I was feeling very unwell and had difficulty expressing myself properly in English. He was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay, always checking on me, keeping me informed about the procedures, and making sure I had completed my exams and was feeling better. He was truly an angel on such a difficult and stressful day for me. Unfortunately, my experience at the pharmacy was not as positive. The staff member was not very polite, and I had to wait around 40 minutes to receive my medications. I hope this feedback helps improve the overall patient experience, especially regarding waiting times at the pharmacy.
