My first Google review for a super ordinary rip off experience. For the money they charge/hustle you just book at a really nice spa instead. If you do go be really clear on times you start and finish and what you pay for. And really clarify the terms of any add ons. I should’ve read the reviews before because plenty of people had the same experience but I went in because it was next door to the hotel. Asked for a 2 hour massage and paid for that before we started and then was upsold to a Moroccan bath during the massage. I was ok with this since I was covered in oil and had been thinking about getting one anyway. The massage was ok only. I asked how much the bath would be and he said don’t worry and I thought we were turning part of the 2 hours into the bath. Was hustled into the bath, which again was ok only, and then hustled out and then was charged for a 90 minute bath and then hustled for a tip. I was a bit bamboozled so paid but walked out going there is no way I’ve been in there for 3.5 hours. Checked the transaction times and sure enough I’d been in there for barely 2 hours total. I went back and complained and they tried to get me to come back in for more time and said I’d been in the bath for 90 mins. I showed them the transaction times so clearly it was rubbish. I asked for some money back instead and they gave me 100 aed when really I should’ve gone for the whole 400 aed of bath but I’m not used to arguing for that sort of thing so I’m leaving this review instead. Though now I’ve worked it out further I might go back and argue some more.

My wife and I visited Aroma Thai Massage after a long and tiring day, looking forward to a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. We had paid for a 1-hour massage, but the massage therapist finished our session in just 30 minutes. When my wife politely confronted her about this, the therapist displayed mood swings and continued the massage. It was clear that the staff at this establishment cared more about money than providing a proper massage experience. I would caution others to be wary when considering this place for a massage. There is a huge language barrier and staff is very unprofessional and not trained.

Such pathetic staff. I left before I stepped into the spa from entrance. Staff was literally saying "This is my shop what u want" Not even giving way to get into. If I had more way to express my anger I could do. The owner can better close this place than paying such unruly staff. Teach them some manners for God sake.
