I’ve only just started using Akasa Wellness after a friend recommended it, and I’m already loving it. The studio is fantastic for both yoga and reformer classes, and the teachers are wonderful—supportive and happy to let you go at your own pace. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Melina, who recently took over the studio. She was incredibly friendly and down to earth. Melina mentioned about upcoming classes, including a kids’ belly dancing class, which I’ll definitely be enrolling my daughter in. I was offered a drink during my visit, and I have to say the coffee was exceptional! I can’t wait to go back again this week.
Akasa Wellness has completely transformed my wellness journey. The space is calm, beautifully designed, and always spotless. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also warm and genuinely caring they take the time to tailor the experience to each person’s needs. Whether it’s yoga, pilates, or sound healing, every session leaves me feeling balanced and refreshed. I also appreciate how organized and professional the team is. Highly recommend Akasa to anyone looking for a welcoming and holistic space for mind and body wellness.
I love Akasa Wellness! It’s a peaceful yoga and reformer Pilates studio. The instructors are friendly and really know their stuff. It’s a great place to unwind and get a good workout. Highly recommend it!
I’ve been coming to this Pilates studio for a long time, and it has always felt like a true wellness-focused space. I want to be very clear that the instructors are still excellent—knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in their clients. The front desk/admin staff are also wonderful: welcoming, professional, and consistently helpful. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the overall vibe of the studio has shifted in a way that feels misaligned with what made this place special. The new owner’s direction seems to prioritize changes that don’t really fit the identity of a Pilates and wellness studio. For example, adding belly dancing classes feels out of place and disconnected from the studio’s original focus and atmosphere. It’s disappointing because the core of the studio—the people who work there and teach—are still doing an amazing job. I truly hope the new owner listens to the community and preserves the calm, intentional, wellness-centered environment that longtime clients value so much.
I have always had a very positive experience at Akasa Wellness Studio, especially because of the instructors and the administrative staff — they are truly amazing, supportive, and professional, and they are the reason I continued coming to the studio. However, since the change in ownership, the overall vibe of the place has noticeably changed, and unfortunately not in a positive way. As someone who has asthma, proper ventilation is very important for me. Earlier, we were able to use a fan socket to allow better air circulation. The new owner requested that the fan be turned off, and later, when I experienced dizziness and requested the fan to be used again, I was told that the socket had been removed. Additionally, a new rule introduced by the owner requires keeping the door open to let air in. While the intention may be ventilation, this has resulted in mosquitoes entering the space, which is uncomfortable and distracting during sessions. This feedback has been shared multiple times, but no action has been taken so far. I genuinely value the studio and the wonderful team working there, but these changes have impacted both the comfort and the overall experience, especially for members with health concerns. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and leads to improvements.
